Gamers who like the StarCraft franchise will be glad to hear that SteelSeries and Blizzard have teamed up to offer StarCraft II gaming surfaces. A gaming surface is a fancy name for a mouse pad. The mouse pads are all limited editions.

SteelSeries will be offering Terran marine and Kerrigan vs. Zeratul editions of the mouse pads. Both versions have a non-slip base and are optimized for optical and laser mice for better gaming performance.

Both of the pads are made from a high quality cloth material, use optimized texture on the surface for smoothness, and glide. Both versions of the mouse pad will be available in July 2009 for $14.99 at GameStop and Amazon.
