Earlier this week some leaked images of a mystery Android smartphone from HTC hit the Internet. The most reliable rumors identified it as the HTC Click, a new budget smartphone that bears a striking resemblance to a slimmed-down G1. Now it looks like those rumors are true, as talk Android brings us unaltered images of the new phone.

According to their sources, this smartphone is, in fact, the HTC Click. The Click is going to be the first HTC budget Android smartphone, and I do mean budget. An unlocked Click is supposed to cost between $280 and $336, which means that this bad boy will probably be free with a two year contract.

No specs or release date information are out yet, but I think it's safe to expect the Click to hit sometime before the Fall.
