Logitech Unveils New Webcams

Logitech has announced seven new webcams that are all designed to work with the new Vid software for fast and free video calling. The seven new cams include the Webcam Pro 9000, Portable Webcam C905, Webcam C600, Webcam C500, Webcam C300, Webcam C250, and the Webcam C200.

The high-end camera is the Pro 9000 featuring a 2MP HD sensor and Zeiss optics. The camera can record 720p HD video and shoot still images at up to 8-megapixels and offers RightLight technology. Video effects are also part of the features.

The C905 is a portable webcam and the C600 can do HD video and the C500 has a 1.3MP sensor. The C300 cam is able to take software-enhanced images at up to 5MP. The C250 has a 1.3MP sensor and the C200 does as well. Pricing for the cams ranges from $99.99 to $29.99 and all are set for availability in August.
