Sony announced a loss for the 1st Quarter that is lower than expected. Sony reported a loss of $392m.
The Sony Consumer products did better than expected, but Sony made most of their money from their financial investment unit.
The Sony gaming unit is still weak, especially under the overall weak video game sales for the last few months.
Nintendo reported a revenue decline of 60% for the last quarter.
