Apple released a new iPhone software update to fix the SMS vulnerability that was demonstrated this week at the Blackhat security conference.
The new iPhone 3.0.1 OS Software Update is now available for your iPhone via iTunes.
You really should update your iPhone as soon as possible as this SMS exploit is nasty, potentially giving hackers full control of your iPhone.
Apple has published a support document that describes the 3.0.1 iPhone Update.

This iPhone 3.0.1 update was not planned by Apple. The company is actually working on the iPhone 3.1 software update, which is right now released to iPhone developers in the 3rd beta.
