I hate teaser campaigns. For some reason manufactures like them and this has been true especially of late. Samsung has launched a new teaser campaign called Tap and Take asking users to guess what they think the feature is.

The site has gobs of little pictures swirling all around the webpage with people tapping the screen to shoot a still image. My money is on a new feature for notebooks and cameras that lets people tap the image rather than pressing a shutter. I could see this being useful in a point and shoot cam.

Digital cams already have an LCD and many of them support touch features. Many cams also allow a user to tap where they want to focus. It is easy enough to see the user tapping the LCD once to focus and then taping it again to shoot the pic.
