One of the universal truths of mobile broadband no matter what provider you use is that the plans are expensive. Orange has unveiled a new mobile broadband plan in the UK that is the cheapest you can get your hands on.

ITProPortal reports the plan costs a mere £4.89 monthly for access. As you might expect at that price, the data limits are scant with only 500MB of monthly data usage before going into massive overage charges.

The plan even includes a free Huawei E160e 3G modem to get you going. The plan is available to purchase now, just don’t go streaming, or downloading any HD movies and you should be OK.
