Sony unveiled a cool new accessory for the new Sony TX1 and Sony WX1 cameras today with the IPT-DS1 Partyshot docking station.
The Sony IPT-DS1 Partyshot pans and tilts the camera while adjusting zoom settings. Face Detection and Smile Shutter recognize and track faces for happy, naturally composed pictures of everyone in the room.
So you can have a dinner party and just place the TX1 in the IPT-DS1 activate Partyshot and you are done. After the party your camera is full with photo of smiling party guests.
The Sony IPT-DS1 is supposed to be available in September. Pricing is not known yet. The new TX1 camera can be pre-ordered on Amazon.com.
