EA has announced that it is offering a gadget version of Scrabble for users to play on iGoogle. The launch of the Scrabble gadget is in conjunction with Opensocial. These new social features allow users of iGoogle to play games and meet up with friends online.

EA says that the Scrabble gadget is customized for iGoogle and offers an authentic Scrabble playing experience. Players can play up to five simultaneous games and scores and statistics are easy to track.

The game gadget also offers adjustable game difficulties and extensive word lists. I was never a big fan of Scrabble with my family we always ended up arguing that the word someone used was misspelled or not a real word.
