The HTC Leo is a pretty hot piece of smartphone, to say the least. It packs Qualcomm's new 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, 512 MB of RAM, WiFi, GPS, a 4.3” WVGA capacitive touchscreen, and a 5 MP camera. All told, that makes this WinMo 6.5 beauty one of the most powerful smartphones currently in development.

Unfortunately, up until now we've had very little idea about what the darn thing is going to look like. Sure, there have been renders, but nothing we've seen that's been close to official. Boy Genius today brings us some renderings from the ai.rs blog. They claim these renders are what the phone is actually going to look like, and they also state that the Leo will be launching in October.

I'm not sure what to believe about their claims, but the images they have are certainly very pretty. If this is the Leo it is one of HTCs slickest smartphones to date, basically just a big, thin block with a massive touchscreen on it. Again, we don't have any independent confirmation of the veracity of these claims, but these new ai.rs renders are the best looking images of the Leo I've seen yet.
