There have been at least two recent reports in Europe of an Apple iPod and an iPhone exploding. One teen was talking on an iPhone when it hissed and exploded sending glass flying into the teen's eye.

Reports of exploding Apple products have come in from Britain, France, Holland, and Sweden as well. A European commission official has said that the commission has asked Apple to share with it any information on the reported problems with its devices.

Apple is reportedly aware of the incidents, but maintains that there is no problem with its devices. An Apple spokesperson said, "We are aware of these reports and we are waiting to receive the iPhones from the customers. Until we have the full details, we don't have anything further to add."
