Sony announced that it would be offering new PSP Minis this week and Sony's John Koller is being clear that the Minis are not apps. Koller said, "It's absolutely not an app store. We're not going to have, 'Find Your Parked Car' and those kinds of things."

The Mini program will be a constant stream of downloadable small games at under 100MB each. Koller was unable to provide clarification about how PSP owners will get their UMD titles into the download only PSP Go.

"We do realise that there is a very strong legacy and we have a strong historical relationship with those who have purchased PSP," he said, " but we really have nothing to announce quite yet on that."
