Samsung has unveiled its latest digital point-and-shoot camera boasting a massive 24x zoom lens. The camera offers full manual control and support for RAW format images. The Schneider-KREUZNACH lens has a 24mm wide-angle focal length and the camera can record 720p HD video.

The best part about the video recording capability of the camera is that all the 24x zoom power can be used in video recording too. Video is recorded in H.264 format. Samsung equips the camera with dual image stabilization to stabilize both optically and digitally for less blur at the high zoom levels the camera is capable of.

Settings on the camera include aperture and shutter priority modes along with a wealth of other settings. The rear LCD is a 3-inch unit and the camera has a viewfinder. The camera will sell for $399.99 and is set to hit stores in October.
