Buy This Now On Amazon

The fact that Amazon has yet to launch the Kindle eReader in the UK may well be holding up the growth of the eBook market in the UK. Apparently, many users simply aren’t buying eReaders and are waiting for Amazon to offer its reader.

With that said a new survey has show that 65% of buyers who participated were interested in a Sony eBook reader, the Kindle was in second place with 42% of users surveyed interested, and Apple was third with 35%.

To make these figures even stranger, Apple doesn't even offer an eReader and I can only assume people are talking about using the iPhone or iPod touch as readers. The survey was conducted by YouGov and polled 3,214 people.
