Google and board game maker Hasbro have announced that they are teaming up to offer a free online version of the popular board game Monopoly. The web-based game will be created by Hasbro and will use Google maps.

This will allow players to buy and sell real world streets from around the globe. The online version will let users build football stadiums and other sites along with houses and hotels on their property.

Chance cards will let users build prisons and waste yards as well. The online Monopoly game is reportedly launching on September 9th and will let players start with three million monopoly dollars.
