Today I am checking out the new SanDisk Extreme III SDHC card. The SDHC card can be had in 4GB to 32GB capacities and the unit I am testing is 8GB. The card promises write and read speeds of 30MB/sec.

The memory card offers lots of speed, but the downside is the cost of the memory card, which is far from cheap. SanDisk offers the card that I tested for $119.99.

Review excerpt: "Today I am going to look at the newest SDHC card from SanDisk called the Extreme III 30MB/s edition 8GB SDHC cards. The SDHC card is a super fast card that is ideal for DSLR cameras and other device s like netbooks that have SDHC card slots for extra storage.
