Collectible manufacturer eFX has announced that it will be adding a full line of Star Trek collectibles to its line of Star Wires collectibles. The company will produce collectibles based on all of the features films and on the TV series.

The collectibles are licensed form the CBS Consumer Products group and will be seen later this year starting with the Mark IX Recorder seen in Star Trek: First Contact. Preorders for the Tricorder will begin in September with a production run limited to only 1000 units.

The tricorders will also be offered in a signature series autographed by Brent Spiner, who played Data in the Star Trek: The Next Generation series. Pricing on the collectibles is unannounced, but the Star Wars line of items is far from cheap.
