In the middle of October reports appeared that Microsoft signed on to sponsor a Family Guy episode on Fox in November to promote Windows 7. Variety reports now that Microsoft canceled the Windows 7 sponsorship because of the show's content.
The Family Guy episode in question is actually a special one dubbed Family Guy Presents: Seth and Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show.
The show has already been taped and the jokes MacFarlane and Borstein came up with are apparently too dirty to fit Microsoft's "clean" image.
Fox is apparently looking for a new sponsor for the special Family Guy Presents: Seth and Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show.
