BlueAnt offers a gob of nice Bluetooth headsets for hands free cell phone use. The company also makes a full line of hands free kits that attach to the visor of your car. BlueAnt has announced that it is offering a free firmware update for it's Q1 Bluetooth headset that allows it to support A2DP streaming.

The new update lets the user stream music from their cell phone to the headset. The update also allows the user to stream spoken directions from navigation apps to the headset. That is an important feature if you are using something like the iPhone as your nav device where the volume is too low for many users on the speakerphone.

The update is offered at no cost to owners of the Q1 who have registered their devices. The new firmware is version 8.19 and you can go to this link to download the update.
