Feeling like a bigshot this holiday season? Samsung's got the smartphone for you. They've just announced the launch of the Samsung I8910 HD, or Gold Edition Omnia HD. This fancy-pants device is inlaid with 24k gold and comes with a leather case, mini-cradle, and TV-out cable. The HD's specs are exactly the same as the Omnia II. (Samsung Hub) 3.7" AMOLED screen, Symbian S60 OS v5, A-GPS, 8 MP camera with 720p recording, 16 GB of internal memory and a microSD slot. Add that to the fancy Luxury Gold or Champagne Gold design schemes, and you've got a gorgeous, high-end smartphone that will probably cost way more than any practical person can afford. The Omnia HD launches this month. Initially, it will be available in Singapore, Germany and the Middle East.
