Vodafone has announced some bad news for shoppers looking forward to getting their hands on the Xperia X2 from Sony Ericsson. The handset has been delayed again according to the Vodafone website.

The website now says that the handset is expected to ship in January. This is the third time in about a month that the X2 has been delayed. This means that the handset will miss Christmas sales.

There is no word on what is causing the continued delays of the device. We have to wonder at this point if there is some sort of issue with the device that keeps causing delays.
