EPVision Unveils The PHD-205LE HD Set Top Box

ePVision has announced the availability of its fourth generation HD set top box. The box is called the Advanced HDTV Tuner Receiver Box PHD-205LE. The box features an ATI MPEG2 decoder chip with a 3D graphic engine and supports resolutions of 1080i and 720p.

Other features of the set top box include HDMI 1.3b output and the ability to tune in to OTA ATSC signals and Clear QAM digital cable channels. The box also supports pass through for analog NTSC channels from RF to TV.

The HDMI output supports up to 1080p resolutions and other connectivity options include component, VGA, composite, and S-Video. The box also has audio outputs, a stereo L/R audio, and an optical digital out. The box is available now for $139.95.
