The Garmin 255W is a navigation system that fits into your purse or pocket. Its sleek design and small size allow it to fit on your dashboard without taking up a lot of space. It has a 4.3-inch (diagonal) wide screen that displays seventy percent more road around you.

The Garmin nuvi 255W features voice prompted Turn by Turn Directions. It also has HotFix which calculates your position faster to get you to your destination quicker. Digital elevation Model (DEM) Basemap shows 3D shaded terrain features.

It’s compatible with optional enhanced MSN direct content. The Garmin also functions as a JPEG picture viewer, a world travel clock, currency converter, calculator and more. You can also send directions directly to your Garmin from Google Maps or MapQuest. With a memory card slot you can easily add maps and travel guides, or store photos.
