What happens if your cell phone runs out of battery a hundred miles from civilization or power outlets? For most people this is a nightmare scenario. Thankfully, Easy Energy created the Yogen, a handheld charging device built specifically to provide relief from this hellish possibility. It's a hand operated charger developed to provide sufficient energy to "ensure sustained use" of a product with a dead battery. While the Yogen (and a variety of Easy Energy prototypes) will be on display at CES 2010, it's available now for purchase online. You can order one here for $39.99. It comes in clear and black, and you'll have to choose between either an Apple+mini USB charger or an LG+Nokia+Ericsson+micro-USB charger.

CES 2010 will start on January 7, 2010 and lasts until the 10th. Of course CES news is already pouring in. Read about it in our CES 2010 section.
