Microsoft's Windows 7 OS for computers is on the market and doing very well for itself. The mobile version of the new OS for smartphones has had a setback though.

Reports are coming in that the OS has been pushed to a late 2010 launch date. Despite the push back, the new OS is coming for sure according to Microsoft. The new OS promises a better touch interface and more flexibility.

The push back is probably an effort on Microsoft's part to close the ever-widening gap between the iPhone PS and Android. Windows mobile is steadily losing ground to the two newcomers in the mobile market.
