Verizon Wireless has unveiled new software for its mobile phone users called V CAST Media manager. The software is designed to let users manage media between their computer and wireless phones. The product is powered by QuickLink Media software from Smith Micro.

The new tool will allow the user to manage photos, video, and music between the computer and phones like the enV TOUCH, Samsung Alias and Alias 2. The user needs the software and a USB cable to manage the media.

A full list of supported phones is available on the Verizon website. Verizon also says that new devices will be added to the supported handset list in the coming months, including devices running Android.
