Buy This Now On Amazon

When the new movies come out on Tuesday it can be hard to get the popular titles at your local movie store. They tend to be rented already, making them hard to find. Blockbuster has announced a new program called Direct Access that will allow you to find the film on the Blockbuster online inventory and have it mailed directly to your home.

This appears to be nothing more than Blockbusters mail-order service with the exception that the staff in Blockbuster stores checks inventory for you. If the movie you want is in stock online, they have it shipped directly to your home.

DVD and Blu-ray titles can be rented with both formats going for $3.99 with no shipping charges. The rental term is for 7 days and starts on the day following the estimated arrival on the store receipt.
