One of the problems with putting a HDTV in your living room is how to get your external speakers into the room without adding clutter. You don't really want a bunch of speakers sitting around if you have your thin TV displayed on a small entertainment stand. Q Acoustics has announced a new Q-TV system that adds an amplified 2.1 speaker system to the set.

The satellite speakers are built into the sides of a mount that let the speakers hang right beside the HDTV. The sub hides behind the TV as well. The subwoofer is only 1.5" deep and is said to be the world's thinnest.

The whole speaker system mounts on the rear of the TV using the VESA sockets. The speakers get 100W of power and inside the system are eight advanced Balance Mode Radiator speakers with two in each satellite and four in the sub. The system comes in sizes for 30 to 42-inch sets and for 42-inch to 50-inch sets.
