Iomega Unveils IConnect Wireless Data Station

Iomega is announcing lots of new gear at CEs today including the new iConnect Wireless Data Station. As the name implies the device has wireless connectivity to allow backups and access to the drive without wires.

The device also sports Gigabit Ethernet connectivity and WiFi speed is up to 802.11n. the de vice supports CIFS/SMB/Rally network file formats along with Apple formats and HTTP/HTTPS. The device can also be configured for remote data access.

Other features include replicating and copying devices and jobs to the storage device and it has dual USB ports to act as a print server. It also supports Apple time machine backups and more. The device will ship in February for $99.99.
