Callpod is also debuting a new Bluetooth headset at CES in addition to the Chargepod V2. The new Bluetooth headset is called the Onyx and the device sports a custom internal amp that gives it five times the range of comparable Bluetooth headsets.

The device promises a range of up to 164 feet from your mobile phone. It also has an ear bud that molds itself to the inside of your ear with a unique material called GummyGel. The headset also has a 2-way walkie-talkie function that allows people to communicate headset to headset.

The device can pair to Skype and a cell phone or two cell phones at the same time with auto switching. The firmware is upgradable and it can store several devices in memory for automatic pairing. The headset also supports voice dialing and call controls. The device will ship in Q1 for $69.95.
