LG Unveils LCD Monitors With LED And 3D Tech Inside

LG Electronics has unveiled a new line of LCDs at CES 2010 that are LED backlit for energy efficiency and have 3D capability for gaming and more. The screens all share a 16:9 aspect ratio, 1080p image quality, and more.

The new models include the E50, W46, and E40 as well as the W2363D, M62D, and W220P. The E50 series comes in 20, 21.5, and 23-inch sizes and they all are 0.69-inch thick and has high contrast ratios. The 22-inch and up support 1080p resolution and all have a 2-way stand.

The 40-sereis is a 23.3-inch screen with the same features as the E50 line. The 3D screens for gaming start with the W2363D and 3D viewing requires special 3D glasses. The screen has dual HDMI inputs and a contrast ratio of 70,000:1. The W46 models are 21.5 and 23-inches in size and support 1080 at 22-inches and up. The W2220P screen is 22-inche sin size and has a 1000:1 contrast ratio and a resolution of 1680 x 1050.
