TomTom Brings Ease GPS Device To America

TomTom has unveiled its latest GPS solution for America called the TomTom Ease. The new device is portable, uses the Fold & Go Easy Port mount, and has text-to-speech for street names. The GPs device also has the EasyMenu with only two buttons on the screen.

Other features of the device include IQ Routes Technology to pick the fastest route depending on the time of day. The database has 1.3 trillion speed measurements taken globally included on the map. Map Share is supported to allow users to get map updates daily.

The Ease measures 3.4" x 3.6" x 1.2" including the mount and weighs 6.1 ounces. The touchscreen is 3.5-inches and has a 320 x 240 resolution. Storage is 2GB and maps of the US are preloaded. Pricing is unknown at this time.
