Gefen has announced a new home theater solution at CES called the GefenTV Home Theater Audio Processor accompanied by Surround Sound Speakers. The two products work together to create a simple home theater system with surround sound in any room.

The kit needs only one HDMI source bypassing the need for a complex system. The device takes audio from any HDMI connection and send it to speakers as 6-channel bi-amped analog content with 25W per channel. The audio uses Dolby encoding and supports Pro Logic II and Pro Logic II X.

Digital audio connections are provided for speakers on all channels and the HDMI input is split into two HDMI outputs for connecting to a projector and a HDTV or two displays. Pricing and availability are unknown.
