Today at CES 2010, JVC announced the coming of a new HD Everio camera, the GZ-HM550. This camera has Bluetooth wireless technology, a 10.6 MP CMOS sensor for full HD recording, and 32 GB of internal flash memory. It also has an SD/SDHC card to boost that storage up even further. This Everio does not pack a GPS unit but, by hooking up with a smartphone via GPS, it can still handle geo-tagging and the like. The GZ-HM550 is capable of 16x dynamic zoom. It also has a couple of special features, like time lapse recording and auto-recording. This Everio launches in February and MSRPs for $799.99.
