Lincoln has refreshed the MKX SUV for 2011 and I will admit it looks very much the same as the previous MKX to me. The car is set to arrive this summer. The new premium package MKX gets 18-inch polished wheels, adaptive HID headlamps, ambient interior lighting, premium leather seats, heated second row seats and illumination from scuff plates.

A rear-view camera is standard and the car gets rain-sensing wipers. Even the steering wheel is heated, and that feature would have been nice in the unusual cold we've had here in the south over the last week or so. Step up to the elite package and the new MKX throws in voice-activated NAV with CD player and a panoramic vista roof with powershade.

Power for the MKX comes from a 3.7L TiVCT V6 with 305 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque coupled to a six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. The SUV can also be had with AWD and it comes with the Ford Sync system.
