There are plenty of the cheap little Aveo cars from Chevy running around and for the most part, they go unnoticed by drivers with their bland styling and cheap nature. Chevy is trying to get the younger drivers of today that are more inclined to purchase what my muscle car brethren would affectionately term ricers to come back to the American auto fold.

Autoblog reports that Chevy calls the new Aveo RS concept a euro hot hatch. Whatever. It’s still a boring, cheap car from a company famous for making some pretty boring rides. The car is expected to make production with some of its concept livery tuned down for the street, making it even more boring in the process.

The car will have a puny 138 hp 1.4L inline four cylinder with 148 lb-ft of torque. The car will get a six-speed manual transmission. What this car needs is some style and some balls; you can’t call an econobox with a small, underpowered engine a tuner car or a hot hatch back.
