Back in October we heard that the MyTouch 3G Fender Edition was being delayed. Since then we've had Black Friday, the holiday shopping season, the holidays, the Nexus One launch event, and CES 2010 to worry over. But now we're smack dab in the middle of January and, low and behold, more news on this updated phone is out.

TmoNews reports that the Fender Edition will be coming soon. The given date is January 20th, which would put it out right ahead of the Apple event. The Fender Edition MyTouch sports a 16 GB memory card and a 3.5 mm headphone jack, in addition to some Fender accessories and a Fender-inspired design. Is this the phone for you, or would you rather save your strumming for an axe made this year?
