Toyota has an unmitigated success on its hands with the Prius. The big downside to the Prius for many folks is the price. With the poor global economy, people are looking to spend even less than what Toyota wants for the Prius. This is where the little brother to the Prius comes in called the FT-CH.

The car is merely a concept right now, but I am betting a version of the car makes it to show rooms eventually. The car is a hybrid aimed at a younger driver looking for something smaller and cheaper.

The car is 153-inches long and 68.5-inches wide and carries four people. There is now word on the powertrain of the concept; presumably, it would use a hybrid drivetrain similar to the Prius'.
