On January 18th, big changes are coming to Verizon. Boy Genius has received word and a ton of evidence that Verizon is about to revamp their pricing structure. They're nixing the Premium plan, re-naming the Basic plan to "Nationwide Talk" and the Select plan to "Nationwide Talk & Text".

VZW is also planning to drop their unlimited minutes pricing by 30% across the board. They're adding in a new $9.99 feature phone data plan with 25 MB and mobile email, as well as a $29.99 unlimited plan with mobile email. Overage charges on feature phone data have been decreased, and all smartphones will now require a $9.99 or higher data plan.

Prepaid customers will also have new options, included an unlimited Talk & Text plan for $94.99/month.
