The first time I saw HDTV tech at CES I was interested, but wasn't all that excited about the new improved images. This year at CES, all of the 3D TV gear and channel announcements were very exciting to me. I have my eye on a new 3D TV and I can’t wait for 3D to come home.

A company called Stereo Vision has announced that it has hired what it claims to be the world's first 3D TV broadcaster. The broadcaster is "Mr. 3D" Dan SIMMs. Symmes has a litany of firsts in the 3D industry to his credit.

A few of them are making the first 3D TV commercial, the first 3D TV broadcast, and the smallest and lightest professional 3D camera. I hope he didn’t have anything to do with that episode of Chuck that aired in 3D that reminded me of 3D games from the early 90's.
