Sanyo has been selling its eneloop rechargeable batteries for a few years now. The batteries are available in all the sizes you expect to find batteries in. Sanyo has debuted a new device called the eneloop music booster.

The music booster is a DC 9V battery that is aimed at music devices. The battery is set to ship in late spring for $149.99 at specialty music stores across the country. The battery isn’t for music devices like MP3 players; rather it is aimed at things like guitar amps, EQs, and multi-track recorders.

The battery can power dual 9V music devices at the same time and provides stable and constant voltage for the devices. A three-stage LED power indicator shows how much power is left in the batteries. The device is also water resistant and takes 3.5 hours to fully charge. Standard run time is about 50 hours for analog effects units, 27 hours for digital effects, 17 hours for synthesizers, and two hours for electronic drums.
