We reported yesterday on rumors that Verizon was about to change their service plan pricing and offers. Today, it appears that those rumors have been verified. VZW just issued a press release detailing the new plan changes.

Starting January 18th, the Nationwide Unlimited Talk plan will be available. This plan comes with unlimited calling to anyone in the U.S. for $69.99. There's also a Nationwide Unlimited Talk & Text plan, which costs $89.99. Those of you on Nationwide Family SharePlans will also have new choices. The Unlimited Talk family SharePlan now costs $119.99/mo, while the Nationwide Unlimited Talk & Text SharePlan costs $149.99.

The 25 MB $9.99/mo plan will now be the minimum required plan for all 3G phones, although BlackBerry/Android/WinMo phone owners will need to go with the $29.99 data plan. There are also new prepaid options; unlimited talk for $74.99, and unlimited talk and text for $94.99/mo. The 450 and 900 minute pre-paid plans will also be offered, for about $5 more than their postpaid cousins.
