We already reported that Boost Mobile will run a Super Bowl Ad at the Super Bowl XLIV. Now reports on the Chicago Tribune and the WSJ have appeared, revealing that Boost Mobile is going down NFL memory lane. Boost Mobile is bringing back some players of the legendary 1985 Chicago Bears team.

The Chicago Bears recorded a rap (very Eighties of course) called the Super Bowl Shuffle. A quick search on Youtube turned up the video of it. You can watch it below if the force is with you.

Boost Mobile is featuring a new version of the Super Bowl Shuffle in their retro commercial.
In 1985 the Chicago Bears won the Super Bowl and had, what is considered, the best NFL season of a team.
If you are into NFL history ESPN Chicago has an in-depth report on the 1985 Chicago Bears.

Clearly Boost Mobile wants to reach a new customer segment with such an 80s and NFL history inspired Super Bowl ad.

Just like last year, we will be featuring our Super Bowl for Geeks Guide for the Super Bowl 2010. Of course the Super Bowl for Geeks Guide is all about the Super Bowl Ads and not the game.
You can follow the Super Bowl 2010 Advertisers in our Twitter Super Bowl List.
