Samsung has added a new point and shoot digital camera with a mega zoom lens to its lineup. The camera is the HZ35W and has a 15x optical zoom lens. The camera has a 12MP sensor and has a 24mm ultra wide angle lens.

The camera also features GPS for geo tagging photos and has a 3-inch AMOLED rear LCD. Samsung also revealed the HZ30W with the same sensor and zoom capabilities, but sporting a 3-inch TFT LCD and lacking GPS.

Both of the cameras can record 720p HD video at 30 fps and use H.264 compression and HDMI connectivity. Both cameras also sport optical image stabilization. The geo tagging feature is supplemented by a map-view feature that lets the user see photos on a map without uploading them to the Internet.
