We can't all be lucky enough to have FiOS. Some of us live in the middle of a city that can't use the service at all right now. We're forced to go through the world, burdened with an Internet connection that can only disappoint us. But, those of you who are FiOS subscribers don't have to worry about our existential pain, because you're about to get another toy to play with.

As Dave Zatz reports, Verizon has just launched FiOS mobile for both the Droid Eris and the Motorola Droid. This service will allow you to check TV listings, adjust parental controls, set the DVR, and look up on-demand videos. It also has a storage space indicator, so you can see when you're nearing your DVR limit.
