The Entourage Edge is one of the coolest recent takes on the 'tablet PC' concept. Their dualbook combines the battery-efficiency and comfortable reading of an E-Reader with the performance of a solid netbook-level tablet. Now Entourage has announced that all Edge units will contain DataViz "documents to go" software.

Using DataViz, Edge customers will be able to create, view, and modify Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe PDF files. All Edge units sold after February 1st will contain the documents-to-go software and retail for $499. If you've already made your pre-order, don't worry. Your Edge will include DataViz software too, and Entourage will honor the earlier price.

The Edge will start shipping in February, with another wave to come in March. If you don't mind dropping close to $500 on a dual-tablet, you can pre-order here.
