BlackBerries have been transitioning to more masculine names for a while now. "Bold" and "Storm" were good starts, but RIM is looking to ramp things up in the testosterone department by launching THE MAGNUM. The name is much more effective in all caps.

SlashGear reports that the Magnum's prototype has been captured on camera by The Cellular Guru. This new berry has a big touchscreen display, as well as a full front-facing QWERTY keyboard. There are no photos of the device in action, presumably because the development isn't quite that far along. It's a good looking phone, though. BlackBerry fans will be pleased.
