The HTC Supersonic is expected to end up being Sprint's first big Android WiMax device. Though we've heard the name bandied about here and there, actual details on this new flagship phone have been hard to come by. We know this new mobile is set to have a rear kickstand, and that was about it until this new rumor from AndroidMobileOS (via SlashGear).

They've managed to nab some grainy screenshots of this new smartphone in the flesh, along with a little bit of information. The Supersonic seems to be an Android-packing revamp of the HTC HD2. It too will sport a 4.3" touchscreen, 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, and an FM Radio. Add that to WiMax and, one presumes, Android 2.1 and you've got a fine high-end smartphone for Sprint.
