Qualcomm (the owners of FLO TV) aren't stupid, they know the dangers a dedicated device faces in this age of multi-utility gadgets. As awesome as mobile TV is, it's even better when you don't have to haul around a separate, special device just to watch it. That's why FLO TV has started working with mophie, the company that makes the extra-battery packs for your iPod/iPhone, to find a way to deliver their mobile TV service to the most popular mobile platform out there.

This new mophie pack attaches to your iPhone or iPod touch and gives it the ability to act as a mobile TV receiver. You'll be able to watch live television on your gadgets, as well as use the battery pack for a back-up power device.

FLO TV and mophie are looking to have these new products out during the first half of this year. No information on pricing or availability is out yet.
