ZAGG Introduces ZAGGsparq Portable External Battery

With the proliferation of gadgets that the average person totes around today it's easy for us to run out of power, especially if we are away from home or don’t have a place to stop and recharge. ZAGG is famous for its line of protective coatings for all manner of gadgets and devices. The company has now unveiled the new ZAGGsparq battery and backup charger.

The device is a small portable battery that measures 3.5 x 3.5 x 1 inches and weight a bit more than half a pound. Inside the square case of the battery is a 6,000 mAh lithium polymer battery with enough juice to recharge your iPhone four times.

The ZAGGsparq is designed with multiple USB ports allowing several USB devices to be charged at once. The output from the device is 2 x 1000 mA at 5V and the battery recharges from the wall AC outlet from 100 to 240V. The MSRP for the device is $129.99, but it will sell for $99.99 for a limited time. The exact ship date for the battery pack is unknown.
